JOURNEY TO THE ESSESNCE OF PERSIAN MYSTICISM

TRAVEL TO IRANIAN KURDISTAN AND CENTRAL DESERT OF IRAN.

After several years of great effort and dedication I decided to design this trip that includes two relevant aspects of Persian culture: Spirituality and roses.
On the one hand we have the world of mysticism and devotional music, especially present in the western part of Iran. And on the other hand, the roses and the desert that we found in the center of the country.
In this two-week tour you will be able to know both through the masters of mystic music, spiritual guides, dervishes and herbalists.
We have divided the journey in two weeks to better appreciate each of the two facets.

We are looking for people who like to leave the «beaten paths» and want to live unique experiences. We are not a travel agency and we do not want to take you to the same places as always.

In this JOURNEY TO THE HEART OF PERSIAN MYSTICISM we will share the Evenings from Heart to Heart during our stops from the deep Meditation and the Silence with the Sacred Dances, Songs, Poems, Stories and Music, entering at each step in Another Space, there where there is no not you, not me, just ONE HEART ..

The tour will take place from April 30 to May 15 and is divided into two parts, one week each part with one day rest between both.
The first week begins on May 1 in Iranian Kurdistan with the DERVISH TOUR and the second week begins on May 8 in the central desert of Iran with the MYSTIC ROSE TOUR.

DERVISH TOUR:
April 30 to May 7
We will travel through Iranian Kurdistan in search of the dervishes and places of pilgrimage of Islamic mysticism. We will visit temples and places of spiritual interest that normally do not appear in travel guides and that are inaccessible for tourists. We will be part of the ritual of the dervishes and, as they do, we will let us drag by the spiritual rapture in the ceremony called samaa. We will meet the ancient goddesses and their places of worship and we will see the sunrise in the most sacred of the ancient worship sites, where we will hold a special ceremony. We will climb high mountains to meet the inhabitants of the recondite Kurdish villages and sing songs with them while the mysteries of their millenary traditions are revealed to us.
We will finish the week with what will seem to us a party full of dance and dancing in the middle of nature but that actually contains a millennial ritual. We will return to Tehran to recharge our batteries and from there we will go to our home at the gates of the desert.

MYSTIC ROSE TOUR:
May 8 to 15
The newly-bloomed roses await us and we will participate, at dawn, in their harvesting. We will visit the distilleries where the famous Iranian rose water is produced and where, in addition, dwells its eternal secret: the essence of roses. We will visit herbalists to teach us the tricks of traditional Iranian medicine and learn the uses of medicinal plants. We will have workshops on traditional medicine, mystic dance and samaa in the desert.
Every night musicians, poets and dervishes will come to see us and we will dance to the rhythm of beautiful Persian music … or to the one that marks our hearts.
We will visit the central desert and meditate under the stars in a special evening where the wandering dervishes will teach us their songs. We will visit beautiful bazaars, traditional houses that were palaces, bathrooms, gardens and parks where we could get lost among the roses. We will be guests of beautiful caravanserai and will delight us with traditional Persian cuisine.
Each day of our stay will be a spiritual and sensory trip that will show us what tourists and visitors do not normally see.

Alchemist of the Heart
She has drunk from various spiritual sources, started on the path of Sufism, thanks to the Master Oruç Guvenç and the path of Tao thanks to Alain Baudet. She has recovered her gift of birth of deep connection with Nature and gift of healing with touching and Voice.
She has been sharing the path of spiritual teachings for more than 15 years.
From 2009 until 2018, the doors of the Rubayat Center in Malaga were open and she offered the Training of Dance and Alchemy of the Heart, that later became VOICE OF THE HEART. Since 2014, she offers RETIREs of Heart Opening,
and since this year, in the VOZ DEL CORAZÓN retreat house, in the Sierra de las Nieves in Málaga, Space of Love created together with his partner Joaquín Moreno.

Diana Maherianfar (Dafclasses)

Traveller and restless. Currently on horseback between Iran and Spain. She has spent a decade dedicated to etnomusical research in different countries and especially in Iran, where she has been working as a fixer, scene locator, translator and artists promoter. Specialised in discovering the paths of mystical and devotional music, she has organised events and workshops for Iranian Masters in Europe and her goal now is to make known the Daf, the sacred instrument of the dervishes of Iranian Kurdistan, to the rest of the world because: Daf is LOVE and kindness and we have to give it to the world.
She currently conducts private tours in Iran, prepares mystical and devotional Daf classes in Iranian Kurdistan and translates texts related to devotional music.

The tour includes:

– Accommodation in hotels, traditional houses and villages surrounded by nature.
– Breakfast, lunch and dinner according to the menu and part of the country (traditional Iranian meals).

– Internal transportation (private flight and bus for the long distance car and private for transportation between nearby cities).
– Workshops and activities (samaa Sufi ceremony and devotional song classes in Kurdistan, Sufi dance, Voice of the heart, visits to distilleries of rose water and herbal remedies in the desert).
– Concerts and private parties and rituals.

The tour does not include:
– International air fare.
– Visa expenses.
– Personal transportation outside the tour itinerary.
– Personal expenses such as personal purchases or extra stay.

The price for the DERVISH TOUR is 800 euros
The price for the MYSTIC ROSE TOUR is 800 euros.

If you stay with us for the complete JOURNEY TO THE ESSENCE OF PERSIAN MYSTICISM, from April 30 to May 15, we apply a discount of 100 euros, so the total will be only 1,500 euros for the two TOURS.
Registration starts in a few days and the number of places is limited.

VIAJE A LA ESENCIA DEL MISTICISMO PERSA

Después de varios años de gran esfuerzo y dedicación he decidido diseñar este viaje que engloba dos aspectos relevantes de la cultura persa: La espiritualidad y las rosas.
Por un lado tenemos el mundo del misticismo y la música devocional, especialmente presentes en la parte oeste del país. Y por otro lado, las rosas y el desierto que encontramos en el centro del país.
En este tour de dos semanas podrás conocer ambos a través de los maestros de la música mística, guías espirituales, derviches y herbolarios.
Hemos dividido el trayecto en dos semanas para poder apreciar mejor cada una de las dos facetas.

Estamos buscando gente a la que le guste salir de los «caminos trillados» y quiera vivir experiencia únicas. No somos una agencia de viaje y no queremos llevarte a los mismos sitios de siempre.

En este VIAJE AL CORAZON DEL MISTICISMO PERSA compartiremos las Veladas de Corazón a Corazón durante nuestras paradas desde la Meditación profunda y el Silencio con las Danzas Sagradas, Cantos, Poesías, Cuentos y Músicas , entrando a cada paso en Otro Espacio, allí donde no hay ni tu, ni yo, tan solo UN CORAZÓN….

El tour se realizará del 30 de abril al 15 de mayo y se divide en dos partes, una semana cada parte.
La primera semana comienza el 1 de Mayo en el Kurdistán iraní con el TOUR DERVICHE y la segunda semana comienza el 8 de Mayo en el desierto central de Irán con el TOUR ROSA MISTICA.

TOUR DERVICHE:
30 Abril a 7 de Mayo
Recorreremos el Kurdistan iraní en busca de los derviches y lugares de peregrinación del misticismo islámico. Visitaremos templos y lugares de interés espiritual que normalmente no aparecen en las guías de viaje y que son inaccesibles para el turista. Seremos parte del ritual de los derviches y, como ellos nos dejaremos arrastrar por el rapto espiritual en la ceremonia llamada samaa. Conoceremos a las diosas milenarias y sus lugares de culto y veremos amanecer en el considerado el más sagrado de los antiguos lugares de culto, donde realizaremos una ceremonia especial. Subiremos altas montañas para conocer a los habitantes de las recónditas aldeas kurdas y cantaremos con ellos canciones mientras nos son revelados los misterios de sus tradiciones milenarias.
Terminaremos la semana con lo que nos parecerá una fiesta llena de danza y baile en plena naturaleza pero que encierra en realidad un ritual milenario. Volveremos a Tehran para recargar energías y de ahí saldremos a nuestra morada a las puertas del desierto.

TOUR ROSA MISTICA:
8 a 15 de Mayo
Nos esperarán las rosas recién florecidas y participaremos, al amanecer, en su recolección. Visitaremos las destilerías donde se produce la famosa agua de rosas iraní y donde, además mora su eterno secreto: la esencia de rosas. Nos visitarán herbolarios para enseñarnos los trucos de la medicina tradicional iraní y aprenderemos los usos de las plantas medicinales. Tendremos talleres de medicina tradicional, danza mística y samaa en el desierto.
Cada noche vendrán a vernos músicos, poetas y derviches y danzaremos al ritmo de la hermosa música persa… o al que marquen nuestros corazones.
Visitaremos el desierto central y meditaremos bajo las estrellas en una velada especial donde los derviches errantes nos enseñaran sus canciones. Visitaremos hermosos bazares, casas tradicionales que fueron palacios, baños, jardines y parques donde perdernos entre las rosas. Seremos huéspedes de hermosos caravanserai y nos deleitaran con la cocina tradicional persa.
Cada día de nuestra estancia será un viaje espiritual y sensorial que nos mostrará lo que normalmente no ven los turistas y visitantes.

Quienes somos:

Viajera e inquieta. Actualmente a caballo entre Irán y España. Lleva una década dedicada a la investigación etnomusical en diferentes países y especialmente en Irán, donde ha residido una temporada trabajando como fixer, localizadora de escena, traductora y promotora de artistas. Especializada en descubrir los caminos de la música mística y devocional, ha organizado eventos y talleres para maestros iraníes en Europa y su objetivo ahora es dar a conocer el Daf, el instrumento sagrado de los derviches del Kurdistán iraní, al resto del mundo porque: Daf es AMOR y bondad y tenemos que regalarlo al mundo.
Actualmente realiza tours privados por Irán, prepara clases de Daf místico y devocional en el Kurdistan iraní y traduce textos relacionados con la música devocional.

El precio para el TOUR ROSA MISTICA es de 800 euros.
